Some hated him, some loved him, some in-between. But truly he dedicated his life to Theology, and serving the Church. He was also a Cardinal, Then Pope. Let's pray for his Soul and err on the side of generous and kind thoughts only! I personally loved him, warts and all as they say. This is what he said to the Crowd in Rome after being Announced he was Pope to the faithful. I love this quote from him.
